Frank Gragnano received his master’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a Certificate in Addiction Prevention and Treatment from Old Dominion University. A Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in Virginia, Frank has over six years of experience in the helping profession, working with persons with substance use disorders, the local homeless population, and people who have been incarcerated, as well as military veterans and their dependents.
Frank uses an integrated approach to wellness, which includes mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, to help those with anxiety, depression, and stress live fuller and more connected lives.
Frank believes that gratitude, acceptance, and patience will provide many of the answers to life’s questions. He also believes in finding one’s purpose in life. Once found, the search for meaning can stop, and being fully present as our authentic selves can become our focus.
